A Personal Update

I've been away from the blog for several months due to a serious fall on April 5 that left me with multiple fractures and meniscus tears on my right side. After six months of rehab (to be continued indefinitely)—and still navigating life with a walker—I'm grateful to be healing and reconnecting with you. Thank you for staying with me. Knowing my books continued to reach readers during this time has meant the world.

What I've Been Writing

Despite being homebound, I've kept busy! Here's what's also new this year:

• Two additions to the Cove Creek Christmas series, book five, Merry Christmas Baby, and six, Faith, Love, and Conspiracies (currently with my editor) Due out before the end of October.

• Two new fantasy novels: Daughter of Fire and Dreams and its prequel, The Day the Dragons Came
